The Rain Map in the PredictRain App allows you to see a graphical rain forecast overlayed over a geographical map by weather model at the highest resolution available up to 1km.
Global Weather models include PWG, PWE, ECMWF, GFS, and UKMO.
AROME,HRRR,NAM and PWG (1km)and PWE (1km) are high resolution regional models which maybe available for your location. These in general will be the most accurate.
GMDSS weather warnings and Lightning can be overlaid on the map or toggled off.
To view the Forecast Options, tap on the weather model drop-down box in the top right corner of the screen. From there you can toggle the options to choose your preferred forecast weather model, resolution, display type, GMDSS/Lightning overlay and animation speed.
