Forecast models are updated independently and occasionally one model may take longer than expected to become available. You can continue to view and use the latest available data from the other forecast models.
To see which forecast model is delayed, tap the forecast update message. This will display the update status for the individual forecast models. Once the delayed forecast model becomes available, its latest forecast data will automatically be displayed.
Once all forecast models have successfully updated, the message will change to show when the next forecast updates are expected. For example, you may see “All forecasts update in 9 hours, 28 minutes.” This means your forecasts are currently up to date, and the countdown shows the time until the next forecast updates are expected.
Forecast update times are generally very consistent, and delays are usually less than an hour. If there is a significant delay in a new forecast model becoming available, our development team is alerted so the issue can be investigated and resolved as quickly as possible.
