If you are in a Rally with PredictWind GPS Tracking the Rally Organisers will contact us to add you to the Rally tracking page.
Once set up you can add yourself to the Rally group in the PredictWind App or by logging into your forecast account at www.predictwind.com This feature cannot be setup in the Offshore App. This allows you to see the Rally under GPS tracking in your account on the forecast website, PredictWind App and Offshore App.
On the PredictWind forecast website please, Head to Tools > GPS Tracking > Tracking Groups
Select the Rally name, if it does not appear please contact PredictWind Support as if it is not showing it is not set up in our system.
The PredictWind App is a little different in the UI, go to GPS Tracking on the main menu in the App then select the settings wheel top right.
All boats in your Rally group will appear on the GPS tracking page within the Apps or Forecast website, it is great to see Rally Boats in the Offshore App when on passage.
TIP: It is important to do the first download in the Offshore App of your GPS tracks on a high speed internet connection before using an Iridium GO!.
