The dAISy AIS Receiver is a portable, low-cost device for tracking nearby vessels using AIS data which is compatible with the DataHub. The dAISy offers real-time, reliable AIS data from nearby VHF AIS transmitters.
This is ideal for small vessels without console electronics and limited power or as a handy backup to VHF AIS on larger vessels. Simply plug the dAISy into the DataHub via USB, and then connect your phone, tablet or laptop to DataHub Wi-Fi and configure it to receive the DataHub NMEA0183 data stream in navigation apps like OpenCPN, Navionics and Aqua Map.
Compact and efficient, it supports racing and chartering skippers with limited onboard equipment. Key features include low power consumption, USB connectivity, and robust build quality. It enhances navigation safety and can contribute to global ship traffic reporting networks.

DataHub / dAISy FAQ
Is there any configuration required for the DataHub to use the dAISy?
No. The DataHub is plug-and-play with the dAISy and it requires no configuration.
Can my chartplotter receive AIS from the dAISy AIS receiver?
No. The DataHub converts and transmits AIS data from the dAISy via DataHub Wi-Fi and LAN in NMEA0183 format only; it does not convert the data feed from the dAISy into NMEA2000 and publish this to your N2K network.
