The DataHub Pro measures 220 × 150 × 35 mm.
How does the size of the DataHub Pro compare to the DataHub?
Compared with 120mm x 90mm x 35mm for the DataHub, it is roughly the same height as the DataHub, 1.5 times the width, and twice the length.
How much power does the DataHub Pro use?
The DataHub Pro has been designed for ultra-low power consumption. It uses 0.35 Amps @ 12Volts DC without a device connected to the USB connector. This is 4.2 Watts of power consumption.
Can I move the DataHub Pro from Boat to Boat?
Yes, you can move the device from boat to boat.
Is the DataHub Pro primarily for sailboats?
No, The DataHub Pro is an excellent option for any vessel wanting a GPS tracking page to share with family and friends, as even offline, it continues to track, store, and then report your tracking locations via any available Internet connection once available.
Will the DataHub Pro work in my country?
The DataHub Pro will work anywhere and connect to the Internet via USB tethering or Wi-Fi hotspot to your mobile phone, other high-speed Wi-Fi such as Marina Wi-Fi or your satellite communications device, e.g. GO exec or Starlink.
Does the DataHub Pro transmit AIS so you can receive this information on other connected Wi-Fi devices?
Yes, the Datahub can share AIS data with other connected devices if the data is already being received onto your connected N2K network via DataHub Pro Wi-Fi and through the DataHub Pro Ethernet LAN port.
Is the Datahub necessary to create an AI polar for my boat?
Yes. The DataHub Pro will collect, store and transmit the data required to create and continually improve your custom AI polar for your boat.

What are the options for DataHub Pro storage? Can I add external storage?
The DataHub Pro ships with an embedded 128GB SSD. It has ample storage for near-limitless logging and PredictMail. With typical usage, it should not need to be replaced or augmented.
Do you still need an Iridium GO!, GO exec or Garmin InReach if you have the DataHub Pro?
The DataHub Pro is a great companion device for your Starlink, Iridium GO! or GO exec if you want to track offshore. If you are sailing coastally, you can activate the T-Mobile SIM installed in the built-in LTE modem to update GPS Tracking and Polars globally in over 180 countries/regions.
The DataHub Pro cannot connect to a Garmin InReach, or Iridium 9575 or 9555 phone.
How easy is it to connect the DataHub Pro to my Starlink for accessing the Internet?

Is the DataHub Pro intended to work with Iridium or replace it?
The DataHub Pro is a complementary device designed to connect all the communication devices on your boat and share Internet, be it a Starlink terminal, 4G cellular modem, mobile phone or satellite device such as the GO! exec or Iridium GO!. Your DataHub Pro can also connect to other high-speed Wi-Fi, such as marina Wi-Fi.
The DataHub Pro can connect with your NMEA2000 network too, and share this data with all devices connected to DataHub Pro Wi-Fi or by cable via the DataHub Pro Ethernet LAN ports.
We currently use an Iridium GO!/GO exec. Can we can disconnect that?
The DataHub Pro is not a Satellite Communication device. The DataHub Pro is a complementary device for other cellular, Wi-Fi or satellite communications devices.
If you rely on the Iridium GO! or GO exec for downloading GRIB files and weather routes whilst out of cell phone or Internet reach, you will need to keep using this offshore.
Does the DataHub Pro work with Raymarine SeaTalk and SeaTalkNG networks?
Yes. Please purchase a SeaTalk to N2K adapter from your Raymarine representative and you will be able to connect your Raymarine network to the DataHub Pro.
What is the Load Equivalency Number (LEN) of the DataHub Pro?
The DataHub Pro has a LEN of 0 as it is not connected to the DC power lines of the NMEA2000(N2K) bus and draws no current from the N2K network.
