How to connect the DataHub Pro using Wi-Fi to the Internet, which could be your Home Wi-Fi network or Marina Wi-Fi network
On your laptop or computer (recommended) or mobile device disconnect from you existing Wi-Fi connection.
Connect your laptop or computer(recommended) or mobile device to the DataHub Pro Wi-Fi network. It will look like PW-Hub-XXX in the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device. Be sure to select "Connect Automatically" if this option is shown.
Open a Chrome or Safari browser and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar.
Login with username admin and password admin
Click on the Left Menu Settings, then Wi-Fi from the top menu
Click the ENABLE button to enable the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi.
Then select the Network (SSID) by clicking the down arrow. This is the Wi-Fi Network that has Internet that you are looking to connect to the DataHub Pro.
Enter your Wi-Fi password in the box Wi-Fi Password text field.
Double-check you have the correct password by clicking on the * button to view the password.Click the green Connect button.
Once connected, the Status will change a few times and end up Connected. Please allow 30 seconds for it to cycle through states before it connects.
Any error messages, such as incorrect passwords, will be displayed after about 30 seconds, not immediately.Check that you are internet-connected by doing a Google search in your web browser.
Important Note: Check that your Signal is strong and that all the Networks are NOT on the same Channel.
If multiple Wi-Fi Networks are on the same Channel on your boat, there will be collisions on the network, and the connection will be unreliable.
If this is the case, you will need to change the Wi-Fi Channel of the device you are connecting to. Please consult the manual for the other Wi-Fi router if you need to change the channel.
Congratulations! The DataHub Pro is now connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi.
