You can use the Measure Tool to check the distance between two locations or measure the overall distance of a passage using multiple points. Continue adding points to follow your intended course and easily check both the distance of individual sections and the overall distance.

How to use the Measure Tool

  1. Click anywhere on the map. A pop-up box will open showing the map details and a Dividers icon.

  2. Click the Dividers icon to start measuring.

  3. Click another point on the map. A line will be drawn between the two points, with the distance displayed on the line.

  4. Continue clicking on the map to add additional points. The distance between each point will be displayed along the measurement line.

  5. The overall distance across all the points you have selected is displayed in the box at the top of the screen.

  6. Press Enter on your keyboard when you have finished adding points.

  7. To exit the Measure Tool, click the X in the box displaying the overall distance.
