The PredictWind Man Overboard App requires a DataHub Pro and is not compatible with the original DataHub.
The Man Overboard system continuously monitors connections with multiple crew phones and watches. Each connected device adds additional processing load, and because MOB is a safety-related feature, the system needs to perform reliably even when multiple devices are being monitored at the same time.
The DataHub Pro has around three times the processing power of the original DataHub, along with Wi-Fi 6 for improved Wi-Fi range and performance around the boat. This provides the hardware performance required for the MOB system.
We would like to have made MOB available to DataHub owners too, but the original DataHub hardware does not provide the level of performance under load required for this safety feature.
For these reasons, the Man Overboard feature is only available with the DataHub Pro and is not available on the DataHub.
