To test IERCC SOS has been correctly activated on your GO exec, please check you have completed the following steps:

  • After registration, please ensure you have entered the activation code to activate the SOS. This can be done by accessing the SOS Settings on the GO exec App, select Use IERCC, and enter the 5-digit authorization code provided by IERCC, and then tap Submit. For full Set up instructions for the GO exec SOS click here.

  • To check the SOS activation, the GO exec unit must have a connection to the Iridium satellites and 4/5 signal bars of strength. Power off the unit for 30 seconds, then turn it on again. On start-up, if on the unit there is no prompt "To set up the SOS" then the SOS setup has been successful.

NOTE: We strongly suggest you test the IERCC SOS feature as per the instructions below:

Testing the IERCC SOS safety service

IERCC asks that all tests be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance.

  • Please click on the following link: https://www.iercc.com/test-device/, which takes you to an online submission form that is set up for testing.

  • Once the form is submitted, IERCC will reach out to confirm the test via email.
For further IERCC Support, you will need to contact IERCC directly at https://www.iercc.com/en-US/
