PredictCurrent Pro subscribers have access to Maps, including Sea Temperature Maps. To change the map, tap the drop-down icon at the top right of the Map view.
The examples below are Sea Temp maps at 1km and 4km resolution.
Sea Temp is sea surface temperature
The maps indicate the average water temperature over the region. The data is derived from observational Satellite data, and the maps are updated daily at 17:30 GMT.
The colour scale indicates the different average water temperatures.
The map can be displayed in 1km or 4 km resolution, and a black outline indicates the land.
To change the resolution, tap the Forecast Options box at the top right of the page.
Tap the map to see a pop-up box with detailed sea temperature information.
