If your Anchor Alert app boat position is following you and you and activates a drag alert when you leave the boat then most likely you are running the app in simple mode based on your device's GPS.
If you didn't see the wind speed and depth displayed when you started the Anchor Alert session then likely you are running the anchor alert app in simple mode based on your device GPS.
Start the Anchor Alert session in Advanced mode while connected to DataHub Wi-Fi. The Anchor Alert app starts the anchor alert on the DataHub. This is required for the DataHub to begin updating the N2K data over internet each minute or so. If you're not sure whether you were connected to DataHub Wi-Fi or not, please stop the current session, connect to DataHub Wi-Fi and try again.
