If your Anchor Alert boat position is following you and activates a drag alert when you leave the boat, then you're most likely running the app in simple mode based on your device's GPS.
If you didn't see the wind speed and depth displayed when you started the Anchor Alert session, then you are likely running the Anchor Alert in simple mode based on your device's GPS.
Start the Anchor Alert session in DataHub mode while connected to DataHub Wi-Fi. The Anchor Alert starts the anchor alert session on the DataHub. This is required for the DataHub to begin updating the N2K data over the internet each minute or so. If you're not sure whether you were connected to DataHub Wi-Fi, please stop the current session, connect to DataHub Wi-Fi, and try again. You will see the green Wi-Fi radio waves in the app to indicate you are connected to the DataHub.
