If your boat's position is incorrect in Anchor Alert on the Map page, or it hops around on the Anchor Map, it may be because the DataHub receives positions from multiple GPS sources.
If the DataHub receives positions from multiple GPS sources, it can cause a jitter in the boat position. What you see in the app reflects the rapid changes between different GPS positions. Enable NMEA2000 / N2K filtering in the DataHub to resolve this.
To enable N2K filters on the DataHub:
Connect to DataHub Wi-Fi and log in to the DataHub on 10.10.10.1.
Click on NMEA > Settings > Advanced.
Tick Enable N2K Filters.
Click the drop-down box next to GPS Address and select your most accurate GPS source.
Tick Internal GPS if the supplied puck GPS is connected. Then your DataHub can use that if your N2K is off for any reason.
Click SAVE & APPLY.
Important Note: The GPS source must remain powered on while Anchor Alert monitors your boat position.
If the above does not resolve the issue, please contact our friendly support team via the in-app messenger available in Anchor Alert Settings (cog top right of screen) > Other > Support, or email support@predictwind.com for further assistance.
