Firmware Update Steps
To update the Firmware, the DataHub Pro must connect to high-speed Internet. You can either activate the LTE SIM card in the DataHub Pro via your laptop or mobile device in the PredictWind Satellite portal, or by connecting the DataHub Pro to the Internet first using a USB-tethered phone Internet connection or Wi-Fi at your home.
Important Note: Please do not use the GO exec or Iridium GO! for this.
Option 1) Activate the LTE SIM in your DataHub Pro by phone to connect it to the Internet
To activate the LTE SIM card in your DataHub Pro to connect it to the Internet:
Screw the LTE antenna into the DataHub Pro LTE connector and raise the antenna to 45-90° so it can receive cellular coverage.
Connect to DataHub Wi-Fi (e.g. PW-Hub-A1234).
Open a Chrome or Safari web browser to 10.10.10.1.
Log in to the DataHub using the Username: admin and Password: admin
The firmware version in the bottom right corner of the page will display as HUB-V2 V4.37 or similar.
Click on Services > LTE / SIM Card (top menu).
Scan the QR code on your phone, or if you have already connected the DataHub Pro to the Internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet WAN or USB tether, then click the link.
Log in to your PredictWind Satellite Account or register to set one up.
Follow the prompts to activate your PredictWind SIM card.
Wait a few minutes, then reboot the DataHub by removing and reconnecting the power, or click on Services > Maintenance > REBOOT.
When your DataHub Pro has connected to the Internet, you will see this on the Services > Internet Status page as the LTE USB Modem widget coloured GREEN with Status: Connected.
Important Note: Registration of your LTE SIM card can take a few minutes, and the DataHub must be rebooted AFTER registration is complete before the SIM can connect. Please wait 3-5 minutes after registration before rebooting. Allow another 3-5 minutes from the time the DataHub has rebooted for the SIM card to register on the network for the first time and successfully transfer data.
If it hasn't worked after 10 minutes, then please reboot your DataHub Pro again and wait another 5 minutes before checking the LTE USB Modem widget for connectivity.
Option 2) Connect your DataHub Pro to the High Speed Internet by Wi-Fi, Ethernet Cable or USB tether.
Please use any of these methods:

The Firmware update takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Note: You will be disconnected from Wi-Fi during the update while it reboots. Before checking update status, please ensure you reconnect to the DataHub Wi-Fi.
