If your DataHub Pro on the NMEA GPS status page shows VOID, yet all the information populates, it may be confusing why it isn't working correctly and won't update your tracking position.
Check the Date and if the Year is old.
The above example shows 2004. This indicates that a GPS device connected to the NMEA 2000 network, providing the GPS feed, is stuck at the last epoch time, and that the GPS device requires a Firmware update.
You may have multiple GPS sources connected to the boat, so you must carefully check each one to see which needs an update.
Please do this, then check the NMEA GPS status page again.
If you cannot remove the GPS stuck in the last epoch time from your system, please review DataHub Pro - how to use NMEA2000 / N2K filters to enable this and select the best GPS from which your DataHub Pro can receive data.
Next, go to the NMEA > Advanced tab and check the box Use Systime for GPS, then click SAVE & APPLY.
This allows the DataHub Pro to fall back from your local GPS time to the DataHub systime, if available from the Internet and up to date. Please note that the DataHub needs to connect to the Internet at least once after powering on the first time to receive a correct system time from Internet Time Servers (NTP). The longer it remains online without an internet connection, the more out of sync the time will be with actual time, although in practice it will be immaterial (seconds or less).
