If you purchased your PredictWind subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play and your renewal payment cannot be processed, you may see your subscription shown as being in a grace period.
This usually means Apple or Google attempted to renew your subscription but could not successfully charge your payment method. Common reasons include an expired or replaced card, insufficient funds, incorrect billing information, or the bank declining the transaction.
Apple and Google may continue trying to collect the outstanding renewal payment while the subscription is in their payment-recovery process.
What happens to my PredictWind subscription during a grace period?
For PredictWind, your paid subscription features are not active while the renewal payment remains unpaid. Your PredictWind account will temporarily revert to the Free level until the outstanding payment is successfully processed.
This means that even though Apple or Google may display your subscription as being in a “grace period,” you may not have access to your Basic, Standard or Professional PredictWind features during this time.
Once the renewal payment has been successfully processed and PredictWind receives confirmation of the renewal, your paid subscription features will be restored.
How do I fix a payment issue with an Apple subscription?
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, your payment details and subscription billing are managed by Apple.
PredictWind cannot update your card or process the outstanding Apple payment for you.
On your iPhone or iPad:
Open Settings.
Tap your name.
Tap Payment & Shipping.
Check your current payment method.
Update your card details or add a different payment method.
Make sure there are sufficient funds available for the renewal.
Apple recommends adding another payment method if the existing payment method has been declined. If the payment still cannot be processed, contact your bank or Apple Support.
How do I fix a payment issue with a Google Play subscription?
If you subscribed through Google Play, you can update the payment method associated with your PredictWind subscription.
On your Android device:
Open the Google Play Store.
Make sure you are signed in to the Google Account used to purchase PredictWind.
Tap your profile icon.
Select Payments & subscriptions.
Select Subscriptions.
Select PredictWind.
Tap Manage and then Update next to your payment method.
Update your card or select another payment method.
Google will periodically retry a failed renewal payment during its payment-recovery period. If the payment issue is not resolved, the subscription will eventually be cancelled.
