Common Questions About the Iridium GO! unit.

Answers to common questions about using the Iridium GO! with PredictWind.

Why does my Iridium GO! unit display “Denied”?

If your Iridium GO! displays Denied, particularly after activating a new SIM card, try the following:

  1. Power off the Iridium GO! and remove the SIM card for at least 5 minutes, then reinsert it.

  2. Power the Iridium GO! back on and place the unit outside with a clear, unobstructed view of the sky, away from large structures, radio antennas and trees.

Allow the Iridium GO! time to reconnect to the Iridium satellite network.

Where can I get my Iridium GO! serviced or repaired?

There are two Iridium-authorized repair centres, located in the United States and Australia, that may be able to service an Iridium GO! outside its factory warranty period.

Before arranging a repair, please contact the PredictWind Support team. We can guide you through troubleshooting steps to determine whether your Iridium GO! can be restored and made operational again.

If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, we can provide you with the appropriate authorized repair centre details.

What should I do if I haven't received my SOS activation code?

If you have not received your activation code when registering for the IERCC SOS service, please contact IERCC directly for assistance.

The registration is a simple three-step process that should be completed online using a high-speed internet connection. You do not need to be connected to your Iridium GO! during the registration process.

IERCC SOS registration is a third-party service, so PredictWind is unable to manage the registration or activation process on your behalf.
