DataHub Pro : Remote Access keeps asking me to change my password

Set the superadmin password if you have already changed your admin password but cannot enable Remote Access.

Written by Matt Crockett

If DataHub Pro Remote Access still asks you to change your password, you may need to update the superadmin password separately.

1. Connect to the DataHub Pro and login as superadmin

  1. Connect your phone, tablet or computer to your DataHub Pro Wi-Fi, or connect a computer to its LAN port using an Ethernet cable.

  2. Open your web browser and enter 10.10.10.1 in the address bar.

  3. Enter superadmin for both the username and password. If you have previously changed the superadmin password, use that password instead.

  4. Click LOG IN.

2. Set the DataHub Pro superadmin password

  1. Go to Services > Settings > Password, then:

  2. Check that the heading says Set Password for superadmin.

  3. Enter your Current password. This is superadmin unless you have previously changed it.

  4. In New password and Confirmation, enter the same secure password you have already set for admin.

  5. Click the * star at the end of each password box to reveal it and check it.

  6. Click SAVE, then open Remote Access again. You should now be able to continue setting it up.

Important Note: Set a secure password. To keep your DataHub logins consistent, you can use the same password you have already set for admin, provided it meets these requirements:

  • At least 8 characters

  • At least one capital letter

  • At least one number

  • At least one special character, such as !, @ or #

Take a photo of it and save the password in your password manager, then click SAVE.
