If the Offshore App is not showing your GPS position as a white dot within the Offshore App.
Please check that GPS is enabled within the Offshore App. There are a number of ways your position can be shown in the Offshore App as a white dot.
1) Offshore App enable the GPS on your iOS or Android device to show your position.
Select Use Device GPS. The button will slide to the right and display as green (iOS) or place a checkmark in the box (Android).
You will be asked to Allow the Offshore App to use your location. Tap Allow while Using App (iOS) or Allow (Android).

2) Offshore App enable the GPS position from the DataHub to show your position
If you have a DataHub
Using the Offshore App on Android or an iOS device
Preferences > DataHub GPS > Ensure 'use Datahub GPS' is toggled ON.
Using a the Offshore App on a Computer or Laptop
Windows 10/11 >File (top left) > Settings > DataHub > Check Read Location from Feed

3) Offshore App enable the GPS position from the Iridium GO!
If you have an Iridium GO! , not a GO exec you can try this method.
Connect your device to the Iridium GO! Wi-Fi
Open the Offshore App
Go to Preferences > Iridium GO!
Click on Verify Settings
Select Tracking enabled > ON
GPS Enabled > ON
Apply Settings
Once it has verified > Close the Preferences page and go to the Weather Routing Map
A white dot should show your current GPS position.
If the white dot does not show, close, then reopen the App and check the map again.
Offshore App manually (when your Android or iOS device knows its location)
If your position as a white dot is not shown.
Head to the Weather Routing Map page in the Offshore App.
Open the way points icon, top right.
Click on the arrow with a circle around it beside the start way point, you should see the GPS co-ordinates change to your current position when you tap it. To double-check, move the start way point away from where it is, then click on the arrow again and see if the way point numbers change, and the start way point will snap to your position.
Please note, it is not possible to display the white dot within the Offshore App on your laptop or computer based on your IP address.
Offshore App manually show your position.
You can also manually enter the GPS co-ordinates into the Offshore App from your chart plotter into the start way point box as a last resort. Check the co-ordinate format is the same.
