With Anchor Alert Pro you can set real-time Alerts based on the N2K / NMEA2000 data received by the DataHub from your boat's instruments when they are connected and powered on.

Using Anchor App Free, alerts for Drag and Swing are available based on your device's GPS; all other alerts require Anchor App Pro.

Anchor Alert App Real-Time Alerts

The Anchor Alert App includes real-time alerts for:

  • Anchor Drag and Anchor Swing angle tolerance

  • The Anchor Scope Ratio, based on wind speed ranges to chain rode length.

  • Wind Speed, Wind Gust and True Wind Direction

  • Minimum Depth

How to set Anchor App Alerts

By default, after the initial setup of the Anchor Alert App, alerts for anchor drag and swing are enabled and set to Ready. These alerts will activate when you start an anchor monitoring session. To set additional alerts in the Anchor Alert App Ready for use during monitoring:

  1. Tap the Alerts icon in the bottom centre of the screen.

  2. Tap the alert to be set.

  3. Set the desired alert tolerance using the slider.

  4. Tap the slider on the top right of the screen to enable the alert (blue colour).

  5. Tap Save in the top right of the screen.

Returning to the main Alerts page, the Alert status will be set to Ready. Ready alerts are set to On status when an anchor monitoring session is started.

Important Note: To disable alerts in the Anchor Alert App your device must be connected to DataHub Wi-Fi before you disable and save the alert.
