To avoid unexpected airtime overages and bill shock before selecting the Iridium GO! exec 5 airtime plan, you must:
Set your DataHub > Tracking > Interval to 60 minutes if it is not already set at this default.
Set up the DataHub > Internet > Iridium GO! exec page settings to ensure that only Enable, Tracking via Iridium and Polars/Anchor Alert App via Iridium are enabled.
Select to disable the Over the Horizon AIS setting on the DataHub > NMEA > Settings > Internet AIS > Enable AIS From Internet > Iridium GO! exec checkbox.
Only ever set your GO exec web/app profile to ALL BLOCKED. The DataHub will do this automatically; however, do not set it to ALL OPEN or any other web/app profile manually via the GO exec touchscreen or app.
Important Note: We do not recommend using the Anchor Alert App on the Iridium GO! exec 5 plan because alerts may result in data overages.

Review this article to Connect your GO exec to the DataHub.
To configure your DataHub settings for use with the GO exec 5 Iridium airtime plan:
1. Set your DataHub > Tracking > Interval to 60 minutes
To set your DataHub GPS Tracking Interval to 60 minutes:
2. Set up the DataHub > Internet > Iridium GO! exec page
Connect to DataHub Wi-Fi.
Open a web browser, and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar.
Log in to DataHub using the default username and password: admin
Click on the Internet > Iridium GO! Exec menu.
Check only these boxes: Enable, Tracking via Iridium and Polars/Anchor Alert App via Iridium.
Important Note: If visible, ensure these checkboxes are not ticked: AIS via Iridium, WhatsApp via Iridium, PredictMail via Iridium or Poll on Tracking.
Click SAVE & APPLY, then wait until the page refreshes and the settings are applied. In the top right of the screen, a light blue REFRESHING icon will display, indicating all new settings have been saved and no changes are pending.
Important Note: To save these settings changes without the GO exec powered on and connected to the DataHub via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, tick the FORCE SETTINGS box at the bottom of the Iridium GO! exec Settings page before you click SAVE & APPLY.
3. Update Over the Horizon AIS settings to stop the DataHub from using OHA
Check your Over the Horizon AIS settings to stop the DataHub from using OHA through the GO exec:
Click on the DataHub > Services > NMEA menu.
On the NMEA Settings page, click on the Internet AIS page.
Under the Enable AIS From Internet section, around halfway down the page, uncheck the Iridium GO! exec checkbox, then click SAVE AND APPLY.
4. Set your GO exec Web/App profile to All Blocked at all times
As a default, while the device is on standby, we recommend setting the GO exec to the App/Web profile All Blocked.
If you connect using other profiles, you will likely experience bill shock. Please read GO exec Web/App Profiles for data sessions for more information about using other Web/App profiles on your plan.
To check your Web/App Profile and set it to All Blocked:
Connect your mobile device to the GO exec Wi-Fi and open the GO exec App.
Tap on the White Globe Internet icon in the App menu bar.
Tap Web/App Profile.
Swipe to the end of the list that appears and tap All Blocked.
PredictWind Apps and the DataHub automatically connect through the GO exec using the All Blocked profile. They open only the firewall ports they need to connect and transfer your data, e.g., GRIB downloads, GPS tracking updates, or sending/receiving PredictMail emails.
