To avoid unexpected airtime overages and bill shock before downgrading your Iridium GO! exec airtime plan to the GO! exec 5 plan, on the DataHub, you must:

  1. Update the DataHub > Internet > Iridium GO! exec page settings to disable AIS via Iridium and PredictMail via Iridium.

  2. Update your DataHub > Tracking > Interval to 60 minutes if it is not already set at this default.

  3. Update the Over the Horizon AIS settings on the DataHub > NMEA > Settings > Internet AIS page to disable the Enable AIS From Internet > Iridium GO! exec checkbox.

Important Note: We do not recommend using the Anchor Alert App on the Iridium GO! exec 5 plan because alerts may result in data overages.

To update your DataHub settings before downgrading your plan:

1. Update the settings on DataHub > Internet > Iridium GO! exec

  1. Connect to DataHub Wi-Fi.

  2. Open a web browser, and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar.

  3. Log in to DataHub using the default username and password: admin

  4. Click on the Internet > Iridium GO! Exec menu.

  5. Uncheck the AIS via Iridium and PredictMail via Iridium boxes.

  6. Click SAVE & APPLY, then wait until the page refreshes and the settings are applied. In the top right of the screen, a light blue REFRESHING icon will display, indicating all new settings have been saved and no changes are pending.

2. Update your DataHub > Tracking > Interval to 60 minutes

To update your DataHub GPS Tracking Interval to 60 minutes:

  • Click on the DataHub > Services > Tracking menu.

  • Set the Interval value to 60.

  • Click SAVE & APPLY.

3. Update Over the Horizon AIS settings to stop the DataHub from using OHA

To update your Over the Horizon AIS settings to stop the DataHub from using OHA through the GO exec:

  1. Click on the DataHub > Services > NMEA menu.

  2. On the NMEA Settings page, click on the Internet AIS page.

  3. Under the Enable AIS From Internet section, around halfway down the page, uncheck the Iridium GO! exec checkbox, then click SAVE AND APPLY.
