Paired with the DataHub, one of the wonderful features of the GO exec is that it will connect periodically to update your GPS tracking, AI Polars, OHA, Anchor position, and more.
Unfortunately, by default, this can cause the GO exec to emit a loud chirp each time it connects and disconnects. This can be frustrating overnight when you really want peace and quiet.
Thankfully, there is a simple solution - turn down the volume of the GO exec ringtone.
To adjust the volume of the GO exec ringtone:
Open the GO exec touchscreen.
Tap the Settings wheel.
Tap Audio Settings.
Set the Ring Volume to your desired setting.
Tap the < back arrow.
Important Note: Adjusting the ringtone volume affects both the connection chirp volume AND the ring volume. This means if you set the volume to zero, you will not hear anyone calling your GO exec on the device itself.
Your handset will still ring if it is connected to DataHub or GO exec Wi-Fi and has alerts enabled on your phone; however, the device itself will not ring.
