High Resolution GRIBs are available in the Offshore App as a Professional Forecast Subscription feature.

To view the GRIBs available, you need to turn on High Resolution GRIB settings.

Mac > PredictWind Offshore App (Top Left) > Settings > Map > High Resolution GRIB areas

Windows 10 >File (top left) > Settings > Map > High Resolution GRIB areas.

For iOS/Android > Main Menu >Preferences >Map Preferences> High Resolution GRIB areas.

Then click on GRIB in the main menu to view the GRIBs available for the area.

The Blue squares represent the GRIBs available to download. The smaller the square the Higher Resolution the GRIB areas.

Click on any blue square you wish to download the GRIB for, it will turn pink, this means this GRIB will be downloaded on your next GRIB download.

If your weather route runs through a GRIB area it will automatically download along your route (According to your resolution selected in downloads).

To download, click the Green Download button and select High Resolution and the models you wish to download. The High Resolution files large, so only recommended for high speed Internet (Starlink). Check the file size at the bottom of the download box for reference.

After the download has been completed, click on GRIB in the main menu, the yellow square means the GRIB has been downloaded, so click on each yellow square to view the GRIB.

You can clear old GRIBs from the Offshore App.

For Windows go to File (top left) >Settings >General >Clear Data >Clear GRIBs

For Mac click PredictWind Offshore (top left) >Settings >General >Clear Data >Clear GRIBs

For iOS/Android go to Main Menu >Preferences >General >Clear Data >Clear GRIBs

The Clear Data function is a 'one off' action and will not repeat.

Please note: when you do a download into the Offshore App it automatically replaces old GRIB files, routes etc. so it is not necessary to clear data before each download.
