To connect your Iridium GO to the Iridium satellite system, so you can make voice calls, send/ receive SMS & email, and download PredictWind weather forecasts, you need to ACTIVATE the SIM card.

Choosing the suitable airtime plan and activating the SIM card are done once you have the SIM card in hand.

In the first month after activation, billing is pro-rated. For subsequent months the billing period begins from the 1st of the month to the final day of the month.

We offer 3 data/airtime plans for the Iridium GO, the most popular by far is the Unlimited plan which is US$154.95/ month. This has 150 minutes of voice calling, unlimited data and unlimited SMS.

PLEASE NOTE:
* If using GPS tracking on Basic Plan the cost for each SMS message is US$0.25. For GPS tracking we suggest the GO Plus/GO Unlimited Plans as these plans offer unlimited SMS messages for free.
The monthly plan fees are charged at the beginning of the month, overages are charged at the end of the month.

* The billing of your Iridium GO plan is pro-rated if activating partway through the month. E.g. if activating on the 15th of the month you will only be charged 50% of the monthly fee. Subsequent months are billed on a full calendar month basis.

* You can change your plan anytime during the month, the change will take effect immediately. You will be charged any overages that are due on the existing plan at the end of the month. The monthly charge on the new plan will be prorated and paid immediately. No refunds will be applied to the existing plan. You can only have one plan change per month.

* Plans can be cancelled at any stage during the month, the cancellation will happen immediately. No refunds will be applied to the existing plan. You cannot cancel the plan in the same month that you activate.

* Please be advised that if you change the default setting for the Iridium DI GO Data service number (0088160000330), additional charges will apply.

* Outbound voice calls to other satellite phones are not included in the free Bundled Voice Minutes.
