You can download Wind and High Resolution Tidal GRIBs through the PredictWind Offshore App and then open them in Expedition, Open CPN and Adrena software.

The PWG, PWE, ECMWF and GFS models are produced to comply with the GRIB 1 specification and can be imported.

The SPIRE and UKMO models are encrypted due to licensing agreements and can only be viewed in the Offshore App.

We believe it is faster and easier to download the GRIB files in the PredictWind Offshore App and then manually import them into Expedition/ Adrena.

A shortcut is to set up the download directory of GRIB data to your Expedition/ Adrena GRIB directory.

Please go to Offshore App (Windows 10/11) > File (Top left) > Settings > General > You will see an Export GRIB section >Select the file directory you want to store the GRIBs in.

On a Mac Computer, all GRIB files are stored in the Computer's Downloads> PredictWind folder.
