1. Check your device is connected to DataHub Wi-Fi
If your Anchor App Pro device cannot connect to the DataHub, ensure that it is connected to DataHub Wi-Fi; this will look like PW-Hub-XXXX. If your device has multiple known Wi-Fi networks nearby, e.g., Starlink / Iridium GO exec / 4G/5G Wi-Fi router, it may switch to one with a stronger signal. Ensure all your other saved networks have auto-join/auto-connect disabled.
To disable Wi-Fi auto-join on your Apple device:
Open your Apple device Settings.
Tap on Wi-Fi.
Connect your device to DataHub Wi-Fi (e.g. PW-Hub-XXXX).
Under the My Networks section below your current Wi-Fi network, tap on the blue i symbol on the right-hand side next to other known networks nearby.
Disable Auto-Join.
2. Enable Local Network on your Apple device
The Anchor Alert App requires Local Network access to connect with the DataHub. To enable this:
On your Apple device, go to Settings.
Swipe down and tap on Anchor Alert.
Tap Local Network and set it to on (green).
3. Update your DataHub password or IP configuration
If you have changed the default DataHub password, IP address or NMEA port settings, update these in the Anchor Alert App so it can connect to the DataHub.
To update the default DataHub connection settings in the Anchor Alert App:
Tap the Settings cog on the top right of the screen.
In App Settings, tap DataHub Connection
Enable Edit IP Address and Port.
Edit the Password, IP address or port settings and tap Done on the keyboard.
Wait a few seconds for a DataHub login successful message to display on the screen, then tap the back arrow < twice to return to the app screen.
