How to reset the admin password on the DataHub and DataHub Pro

How to reset a lost or forgotten admin password on the DataHub or DataHub Pro using a hardware reset via the pinhole reset button.

If you have forgotten or lost the admin password for your DataHub or DataHub Pro and can no longer log in to the web admin UI at 10.10.10.1, you will need to perform a hardware reset to restore the default login credentials.

Default login credentials

After a hardware reset, the admin login details are restored to:

  • Username: admin

  • Password: admin

We strongly recommend changing the default password immediately after logging back in.

DataHub — hardware reset

Locate the reset button next to the power inlet on the unit. It is accessible through a small pinhole in the enclosure.

  1. Ensure the DataHub is powered on.

  2. Insert a paper clip or other small object into the pinhole and depress the reset button.

  3. Hold the button for 15 seconds, then release.

  4. The unit will perform a factory reset. This takes 5–10 minutes — do not interrupt the unit during this time.
