Click on forecast then Current maps from the left menu bar. The Current models are
Tidal and Ocean (Tidal Current and Mercator Ocean Current combined)
Mercator (Ocean Current)
RTOFS (Ocean Current)
The colour gradients show the significant current flows, the black arrows show the primary current direction.
By clicking on the current resolution button (Top right corner) you can select the model and resolution of the current map you want to view.
The higher the resolution, the more accuracy and detail of the forecast. For example 100m is more accurate than 400m.
You can also click on the map to get detailed current intensity for that point on the map in the pop up box.
Use the animation controls to play or pause the animation, or click on the timeline to jump to a forecast time. Use the zoom controls on the map or your mouse wheel, or the trackpad in your laptop to control your view.
