If your iPhone hotspot is disconnecting unexpectedly while using it with the DataHub, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Disable Low Data Mode
Low Data Mode may limit connectivity and cause the hotspot to turn off.
Go to your phone Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options
Tap Data Mode and select Standard or Allow More Data on 5G
2. Turn off Low Power Mode
Go to your phone Settings > Battery
Turn off Low Power Mode.
3. Keep the Hotspot Screen Open
iPhones may disable the hotspot when not in active use. Keep the Personal Hotspot page open to maintain a stable connection.
4. Restart Your iPhone
A simple restart can resolve many temporary issues.
Hold the Power button and slide to power off
Turn your iPhone back on after 10 seconds
5. Reset Network Settings
Resetting network settings can fix persistent hotspot issues.
Go to your phone Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset
Tap Reset Network Settings
6. Update iOS
Ensure your iPhone is running the latest software update for optimal performance.
Go to your phone Settings > General > Software Update
If the issue persists, consider connecting your iPhone to the DataHub via a USB tethering charging cable instead.
