If you are having trouble with the PredictWind App or Offshore App on your Android device, try the following:
Check you are logged into the correct PredictWind account.
PredictWind App: Scroll to the bottom of the main menu and select Profile.
Offshore App: Select Preferences from the main menu.
Check that the email address shown is for your upgraded PredictWind account.
Restart your device by powering your Android phone or tablet off and back on again.
Uninstall and reinstall the PredictWind App from the Google Play Store.
Update your device to the latest available Android operating system.
Clear the PredictWind App cache. On your Android device, go to Settings > Apps > PredictWind App > Storage > Clear cache.
Check that you have the latest version of Android System WebView. Restart your Android device, then open the Google Play Store, search for Android System WebView, and install any available update.
If you have a VPN installed on your device, disable it and try the PredictWind App again. If disabling the VPN does not resolve the issue, uninstall the VPN temporarily and try again.
Check whether you have a security App, such as Trend Micro Mobile Security, installed that may be preventing the PredictWind App from loading or connecting. You may need to allow the PredictWind App through the security App or temporarily disable the security App and try again.
Last resort – Clear App Data
If you have tried all of the troubleshooting steps above and the issue continues, as a last resort you can clear the PredictWind App data.
On your Android device, go to Settings > Apps > PredictWind App > Storage > Clear Data.
Important: Clearing the App data resets the locally stored data and settings for the PredictWind App. You will need to log in again, so please make sure you know your PredictWind account email address and password before clearing the App data.
We recommend trying all other troubleshooting steps before using this option.
Minimum requirement: Android 8 on a device originally supplied with Android 8 or later.
