It is essential to update the DataHub firmware as we have made several important updates, including integration with the Iridium GO! exec and PredictMail.
It is very important that the DataHub maintains power supply during the firmware update.
To check which version of the DataHub firmware your device is using:
1. Connect your device to the DataHub WI-FI
2. Open a Chrome or Safari browser and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar
3. Login with username admin and password admin
4. At the bottom right corner of the page, the firmware version will display as HUB-32m V 3.XX
If you have version 3.33 or above, follow the steps in SECTION 1.
If you have version 3.32 or earlier, you can follow the steps in SECTION 2.
SECTION 1 - Updating firmware version 3.33 or above,
1. Connect your device to the DataHub WI-FI (or Ethernet/WAN)
2. Open a Chrome or Safari browser and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar
3. Login with username admin and password admin
4. From the Left hand Services menu > Go to Settings > Software update > Check
5. Click Download
6. Click Confirm
7. The firmware update takes about 5 minutes to complete. Note that you will be disconnected from WiFi during the update since the unit will be offline.

8. The firmware update is complete once the orange LED comes on. You can reconnect your mobile device to the DataHub WiFi and verify the new software version by looking over the page footer in any view or going back to the software update page.
SECTION 2 - For version 3.32 or earlier,

1. Download and save the DataHub firmware file https://api.rdsensing.com/pw/firmware to your computer
2. Connect your device to the DataHub WI-FI (or Ethernet/WAN)
3. Open a Chrome or Safari browser and type 10.10.10.1 in the URL bar
4. Login with username admin and password admin
5. From the Left-hand Services menu > Go to Settings > Select the Maintenance tab and select FLASH IMAGE
6. You will need to browse for the firmware you downloaded to your computer, upload it to the DataHub, and then confirm that you wish to update the firmware.
7. Ensure you check/ select the box KEEP SETTINGS AND RETAIN CURRENT CONFIGURATION, then Click Continue.
8. The following screen will pop up once you confirm to proceed with the update.
9. The firmware update takes about 5 minutes to complete. Note that you will be disconnected from WiFi during the update since the unit will be offline.
